Hooping is hard to describe. It's not exactly like the
hooping you remember as a kid. Hooping's history actually goes back way farther than that and incorporates much
more than just twirling it around your waist. Our hoops are much easier to use than the flimsy toy store version because
they are designed and proportioned for the adult body. Think you can't hoop? Try again...you'll be surprised!
It's dance, an aerobic workout, strength training,
and mediation all in one! A few of the many benefits of hooping include:
- Trimming down
your waistline while toning your core
- Isolating and toning major muscle groups with different
exercises around arms, waist, butt, neck, and knees
- Perpetual circular centripetal motion will
put you in a calm state of mind
Hooping is amazing exercise. You can burn up to 800 calories an hour with a vigorous hoop workout, and 300-400
an hour, just doing the basics!
WARNING: HOOPING IS VERY ADDICTIVE! Once you get that hoop going, you want
to let it keep going round, and round, and round...
What services do you offer?
We offer custom hand-made hoops in a variety of sizes, tape colors, and tubing
widths. If that sounds like a foreign language to you, contact me and I will help you figure out what type of hoop is
best for you. Hoop prices range from $10-35 and there is a discount for purchasing more than one hoop.
I am also available to be booked for
parties and other entertainment. Rates can be worked out depending on the situation (i.e. how long, how many hoops you
need me to bring, if you'd prefer me to just perform or to be interactive with the guests. LED
hooping is available for nighttime events. Not only will hoops bring a very unique edge to your next event, but they
will get everyone moving, dancing, being healthy, and having a good time!
I also offer private/group lessons.
Soon, I hope to be able to offer weekly classes. Contact me if you are interested in this because the more people that
sign up, the lower the rates will be. For private lessons my general rate is $40/hour and semi-private $30/hour.
Nothing is set in stone; I try to accommodate everyone who shows an interest in hooping and am open to negotiation.
